SİSSAN NEW-GENERATION TILLAGE

Heavy-Duty Performance with Rear-Wheel Convenience

Robust disc gangs, balanced draft and easy field manoeuvring in one machine.

The SİSSAN New-Generation Trailed Disc Harrow combines the robust disc-gang
and frame construction of heavy-duty disc harrows with the agile handling
and rear-wheel convenience of conventional trailed models.

SİSSAN New-Generation Trailed Disc Harrow

NEW-GENERATION TRAILED DISC HARROW

The Strengths of Two Different Designs in One Machine

The New-Generation Trailed Disc Harrow is positioned between a heavy-duty
centre-wheel disc harrow and a conventional rear-wheel trailed disc harrow.

Its angled front and rear disc gangs cut the soil, break clods, incorporate
crop residue and produce a more even field surface.

New-Generation Design:
Robust disc gangs, a weight-optimised trailed frame and a hydraulic
rear-wheel system in one machine.

KEY FEATURES

Powerful, Stable and Practical Operation

01

Offset Disc-Gang Arrangement

Angled disc gangs cut, break and mix the soil effectively.

02

Rear-Mounted Dual Wheels

Provide convenient transport, easy headland turns and practical road travel.

03

Hydraulic Lift

Allows the machine to be raised and lowered easily from the tractor.

04

Adjustable Gang Angle

Tillage intensity can be adjusted to suit soil type and field conditions.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Cuts, Breaks and Levels

The front disc gang cuts the soil and crop residue and moves the material
laterally. The rear disc gang works the soil again, helping reduce clod size
and level the field surface.

Increasing the gang angle raises both the soil-cutting effect and the tractor’s
draft requirement. Gang angle and working depth should therefore be adjusted
to suit field conditions.

APPLICATIONS

From Post-Harvest Tillage to Seedbed Preparation

A

Stubble Incorporation

Cuts stalks and crop residue after harvest and mixes them into the soil.

B

Clod Breaking

Helps reduce large clods formed after primary tillage.

C

Soil Mixing

Mixes fertiliser, organic material and weeds into the topsoil.

D

Seedbed Preparation

Creates a more even and workable field surface before sowing.

WHY THE NEW GENERATION?

More Robust than a Conventional Disc Harrow, More Agile than a Heavy-Duty Model

Its reinforced disc-gang and frame design provides more stable operation than
conventional trailed disc harrows. The rear-wheel layout also offers easier
transport, turning and manoeuvring than heavy-duty centre-wheel models.

Operating advantage:
Balanced draft, hydraulic control, easy transport and adaptable performance
across different soil conditions.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION

Regular Inspection for Long Service Life

Discs, bearings, scrapers, hydraulic hoses, wheels and connecting bolts
should be inspected regularly. The machine should not be operated in
excessively wet soil and should be cleaned and stored in a dry area at
the end of the season.

SİSSAN NEW-GENERATION TRAILED DISC HARROW

Power and Ease of Use in One Machine

The SİSSAN New-Generation Trailed Disc Harrow provides a powerful, stable
and practical solution for stubble incorporation, clod breaking, soil mixing
and pre-sowing field preparation.

Disc count, working width, machine weight and required tractor power may
vary according to the selected model.

Model Selection by Tractor Power

In addition to tractor power, model selection should take account of soil
hardness, working depth and the amount of crop residue in the field.

ModelNumber of DiscsRecommended Tractor PowerApproximate Working WidthApproximate WeightRecommended Application

and fields with dense crop residue
24-Disc24110–120 HP2.65–2.80 m1,450–1,650 kg Large fields and applications requiring
higher daily work capacity

Quick selection guide:
The 18-disc model is recommended for 80–90 HP, the 20-disc model for
90–100 HP, the 22-disc model for 100–110 HP and the 24-disc model for
110–120 HP tractors.

Tractor PowerApproximately 80–120 HP, depending on the model

Selecting the Right Model

In hard, dry soils, fields with heavy stubble or applications requiring
a steep gang angle, choose a tractor near the upper end of the recommended
power range. If tractor power is marginal, the next smaller disc model will
generally provide more balanced performance.
20-disc model:
Suitable for tractors of approximately 90–100 HP under normal field
conditions. For hard soil and deep tillage, a tractor of at least 100 HP
with sufficient operating weight and traction is recommended.
Information:
Working width, weight, disc diameter and tractor-power figures are reference
ranges based on machines in the same class. Final values should be confirmed
against SİSSAN production specifications.
