PROFESSIONAL ORCHARD CLEARANCE

A Powerful Solution That Reduces Post-Pruning Workload

The SİSSAN Tractor-Mounted Branch Shredder
is designed to shred branches, shoots, stalks, grass and plant residues
left on the ground after pruning in fruit orchards, olive groves, vineyards
and other agricultural production areas.

Mounted on the tractor’s three-point linkage, the machine is driven by the PTO.
Its high-speed hammer rotor lifts pruning residues into the housing and shreds
them through repeated, powerful impacts. The processed material is then spread
back onto the surface in smaller, more uniform pieces.

This helps reduce the labour required to collect, pile and remove branches
from the orchard. Leaving the shredded organic material on the soil surface
supports natural decomposition and the return of organic matter over time.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Effective Shredding with a High-Speed Hammer Rotor

The machine’s primary working component is a high-speed hammer rotor housed
inside the body. Swinging hammers mounted on the rotor repeatedly strike
branches, shoots, stalks and crop residues, reducing them into smaller pieces.

The enclosed shredding chamber allows material to contact the rotor and internal
counter-shredding surfaces several times. This operating principle turns long,
bulky pruning residues left on the ground into a more manageable material.

The adjustable rear roller helps maintain the selected working height and allows
the machine to follow the ground more evenly. This supports consistent shredding
results across varying terrain conditions.

KEY FEATURES

Equipment Designed for Intensive Orchard Work

01

Hammer Rotor System

Durable hammers mounted on the high-speed rotor shred branches, shoots,
stalks, grass and crop residues through powerful impacts.

02

Hydraulic Side Shift

Moves the machine laterally relative to the tractor centreline,
making it easier to work closer to tree trunks, row edges and orchard boundaries.

03

PTO Drive

Power from the tractor PTO is transmitted to the shredding rotor
through the gearbox and protected side-drive system.

04

Adjustable Rear Roller

Follows the ground profile to stabilise the working height,
support more uniform shredding and help protect the rotor.

05

Protective Chain Curtain

Helps contain stones, branches and other material that could otherwise
be thrown from the shredding chamber during operation.

06

Robust Body Construction

The enclosed rotor housing, reinforced mounting points and protected
transmission system provide a structure suited to intensive agricultural use.

HYDRAULIC SIDE SHIFT

Easier Access Beneath Trees and Along Row Edges

With a fixed machine, the tractor may need to travel very close to the tree.
The hydraulic side-shift system allows the shredder to move laterally away
from the tractor’s travel line.

This feature provides a major operating advantage in olive groves, walnut and
almond orchards, citrus plantations, vineyards and other row-crop orchards.

Using a suitable tractor hydraulic connection, the operator can adjust the
machine position and approach tree trunks and orchard edges with greater control.

WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

Effective on Different Types of Agricultural Residue

O

Olive Groves

Suitable for shredding olive branches left between rows and beneath trees
after pruning.

F

Fruit Orchards

Helps manage pruning residues in apple, pear, peach, apricot, citrus,
walnut, almond and similar orchards.

V

Vineyards

Helps shred vine shoots and thin branches left between rows after pruning.

L

Fields and Open Areas

Suitable for shredding stalks, weeds, brush, crop residues and similar
surface material.

TIDIER ORCHARDS

Turn Pruning Waste into a Useful Resource

Branches left on the ground after pruning can obstruct tractor travel,
spraying, fertilising and other orchard-maintenance operations. The branch
shredder reduces this material into smaller pieces and helps keep the working
area orderly.

More uniform distribution of the shredded material helps reduce the risk
of long branches catching on equipment, makes subsequent field operations
easier and returns pruning residues to the natural organic cycle.

Powerful shredding, cleaner orchards and more efficient work with SİSSAN.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT MACHINE

Select the Model That Matches Your Tractor and Orchard

The maximum branch diameter the machine can process varies according to
whether the wood is green or dry, tree species, rotor and hammer configuration,
forward speed, tractor power and machine model.

When selecting the right model, consider working width, machine weight,
tractor horsepower, PTO speed, hydraulic connection requirements and the
average branch diameter encountered in the orchard.

Important:
Never clean, adjust or service the machine until the tractor PTO has been
disengaged, the engine has been switched off and all moving parts have come
to a complete stop. Protective covers and chain curtains must remain fitted
during operation.

MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Which Working Width Should You Choose?

Choose the right model according to your orchard row spacing, daily work capacity
and tractor power for more efficient operation.

165 cm Model

Agile operation, easy manoeuvrability and lower tractor power requirements
for vineyards and orchards with narrow row spacing.

185 cm Model

A balanced choice between manoeuvrability and work capacity,
suitable for medium-sized orchards.

210 cm Model

Covers more ground in a single pass in wider rows,
providing higher daily work capacity.

Hydraulic Side-Shift Option

Provides easier access to pruning residues beneath tree trunks,
along row edges and outside the tractor wheel track.

Important:
Machine selection should consider not only engine horsepower, but also PTO power,
lifting capacity, machine weight and the average branch density in the orchard.
